Solitude
Solitude, blue reflections of me Forgotten dreams, only reflections I see.
You open the door to my heart, then leave.
Footprints remain forever I believe!
Promises made, only to be broken Echoes in my heart of words unspoken. Try as I may, I cannot forget. Looking back, with heartfelt regret.
Silently I pray so deeply I feel. In search of whispered words that heal. An unseen helping hand, a look of love My solitary prayer to God above
Solitude, my future destiny I fear. A broken heart, an unshed tear! Footprints inprinted in my heart forever Never to be erased, not now... not ever!
