Shades of Night The Shades of Night come into my dreams When I've drifted off to sleep. They bring to me a picture of love One that I'm destined to keep It was during the evening shadows When first I saw this face It imprinted itself upon my soul Of a different time and place A place I travel to in my dreams As my heart reaches over the sea Touching the spirit waiting there To reach out and join with me.
