I believe those beautiful butterflies
Are really my angels on wing.
As they fly all around me each day
I imagine I can almost hear them sing.

So many colors, so many sizes
And I love them each and every one.
They are truly mesmerizing
As they flit around in the morning sun.

I do think they're here to teach me
To show kindness to my fellow man.
To spread my own wings and fly the world
Showing love to everyone I can.

To cherish all of God's creatures
And protect them in every possible way.
Giving out love by the heart full
As I go through life day by day.

So as I watch them when they visit me
And envision the message they bring.
Somehow I know they truly are
My beautiful angels on wing.
