Colour My World

The rainbow of life
Multi coloured for fun.
The gift of friendship
Warm like the sun.

Blue as the ocean
On a clear summers day.
There to help ease
All our troubles away.

Green as the leaves
On a newly budding tree.
Returning each year
For you and for me.

Pink like the roses
We love so dear.
Their beauty and grace
Forever near.

Red as the glow
From within the heart
The colours of friendship
Never apart.

We all need friendship to bring colour into our world.
Especially that one special friend to fill our lives with fun
and laughter. Whether we are young or old it is friendship
that puts everlasting colour into our hearts.
I found my color in my dearest friend Betty
