I went walking down by the sea
And the water was glistening orange and blue.
I gazed out towards the horizon
And my thoughts turned to memories of you.

Way up in the brightly lit sky
I could see a reflection of your face.
It was smiling down at me
Reminding me of a far happier time and place.

A time when the world was ours
And two souls merged as one.
When only love and laughter could touch us
As we walked together in the sun.

Now here by the sea is my sanctuary
It's a place where I've found peace at last.
Here I can become lost in my dreams
And relive those sweet memories of the past.
