Bobby's Christmas Wish Santa, I have a special Christmas wish Before you finish loading up your sleigh If I promise to be a good boy Will you listen to what I have to say? Santa, I am alone and very lonely And I need a little puppy dog to care So tonight before you set off on your journey Could you find me a little puppy dog to share. Santa, I've hung my Christmas stocking ready Hoping you will hear my little plea So if I promise to close my eyes real tight Will you grant this Christmas wish to me? Santa, I dream of a little black playmate I've already chosen her a name I dream constantly of my little Poppy Picturing us together, enjoying every game Santa, it is now Christmas morning And the snow is falling white and bright My stocking is filled to overflowing And Poppy's little face peeks out in delight Santa, thank you for hearing my Christmas wish You've made me a very happy "Bobby" boy Poppy and I will have so much fun together Giving to each other companionship, love and joy © Kaye Stubbington 20/10/04

Bobby was the first to join our family and is now five years old
Poppy joined us just before Christmas almost two years ago
as an eight week old puppy . The love and joy they bring is unending.
They are my constant companions, and I cannot imagine life without them.
